One of Mexico’s larger producers of cotton textiles for clothing and denim has ordered 02 Caustic Recovery Plants for mercerizing lye. With these investments, they will close the loops for Caustic Soda used in the textile finishing as well as water for washing and rinsing in the mercerization. As the caustic soda is no longer sent to the Waste Water Treatment also the cost of neutralization will be much reduced. This eco-friendly investment makes the garments industry more sustainable and best of all, the Pay Back Time is less than a year even if the initial cost is substantial.
